Fruitum Studio privacy policy
Fruitum Studio is a desktop program that its owner, Paul Pereira, uses on his own computer to make the animated children's series Fruitum and to upload the finished episodes to the Fruitum YouTube channel. It is not offered to the public and it has no other users. This page explains what the program does with the Google account information it is allowed to see.
What it asks Google for
- Manage your YouTube videos (
youtube.upload): used only to upload episodes, thumbnails and captions that the owner has made, to the owner's own channel. - View your YouTube account (
youtube.readonly): used only to show the channel's name in the program and to check the status of a video after it has been uploaded.
What it keeps, and where
- The sign-in tokens Google issues are stored on the owner's computer, encrypted with the operating system's own protection (Windows data protection through Electron
safeStorage). They are never sent anywhere except back to Google when the program talks to YouTube. - The program keeps a small log of what it uploaded (the video's title and its YouTube address). The log is stored on the same computer.
- It does not collect, store or process information about viewers, subscribers, comments or children.
What it never does
- It does not sell, rent or share Google user data with anyone.
- It does not use Google user data for advertising, for profiling, or to train machine-learning models.
- No person reads the data, other than the owner using his own program.
Google API Services User Data Policy. Fruitum Studio's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Stopping and deleting
- You can withdraw the program's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, or by choosing "Disconnect" in the program.
- Deleting the program's folder from the computer removes the stored tokens and the upload log.
